About SFM

Macedonian speleological federation (SFM) is unprofitable organization that is responsible for taking care of the speleological objects in Republic of Macedonia and the karst at all. SFM unites the speleological associations and coordinates their work.

SFM is associated member of the Macedonian mountain sports federation (FPSM) and is financially supported by the Young and Sport Agency by the Government of Republic of Macedonia. 

SFM`s basic aims are:

- Complete exploration and systematization of the speleological objects in Republic of Macedonia.
- Protection of the speleological objects and their biota.
- Tourist organization of the speleological objects.
- Development of the speleological research in Republic of Macedonia.
- Promotion of the Speleology in Republic of Macedonia.
